Alexandria G. Zafonte joined Hickey & Evans as an Associate in 2016. She is originally from New York, where her father has his own law practice and her family resides. Her father inspired her to become an attorney to advocate for others.
In 2012, she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in History and Italian from Franklin and Marshall College. In 2015, she graduated magna cum laude from Vermont Law School and received the Kempner Award for her public service work at the South Royalton Legal Clinic. While at law school, she also worked at the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic, where she aided supervising attorneys with complex environmental litigation.
After law school, she clerked for Judge Eric Aarseth at the Alaska Superior Court in Anchorage. Clerking imparted upon her research, writing, and advocacy skills that she uses daily as an attorney. She is currently licensed to practice law in Alaska, Wyoming, and Colorado.
Alexandria loves the outdoors, especially the mountains. In her free time she hikes, skis, and adventures as often as possible. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her pet bunny rabbit.
